It’s not every day you get to witness opulence on a grand scale, but that’s exactly what Kim and Khloe Kardashian experienced when they attended the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant in Mumbai last July. In the latest episode of their reality show, “The Kardashians,” the sisters dished out all the juicy details about the extravagant celebrations, leaving fans utterly mesmerized. As they recalled, the sheer scale of the wedding arrangements left them speechless – with “millions of flowers” and “diamonds embedded everywhere.” But what really caught their attention was the fact that even the cows brought in for the puja ceremony had diamonds on their feet!
As Khloe described, the entire arena was decked out in a majestic manner, with Kim chiming in that the sight was truly breathtaking. “The ceiling was covered in millions of flowers,” Khloe reminisced, “and everything was just so over-the-top, it was like a sensory overload – in the best possible way.” The sisters couldn’t help but draw comparisons to Disney’s “It’s a Small World,” saying that the ambiance was like stepping into a different world altogether.
One of the most striking moments of the wedding, according to the sisters, was Radhika Merchant’s grand entrance, where she arrived on a peacock-shaped boat. As Khloe recounted, “The bride came in on a peacock boat, and it was covered in precious gems.” Kim added that “everything was gold-plated, and there were diamonds everywhere – even on the cows’ feet.” The Ambani family had apparently arranged for a special puja ceremony, where the cows played a significant role.
What’s interesting is that Kim Kardashian had no prior connection to the Ambani family, but she decided to attend the wedding on a whim. As she revealed, “I didn’t actually know the Ambani family, but we have some mutual friends. One of our friends, Lorraine Schwartz, is a jeweler who makes jewelry for the Ambanis. She was going to the wedding and invited me to join her, and I just decided to go on a whim.”
The invitation itself was a grand affair, weighing a whopping 18-22 kilograms (or 40-50 pounds), complete with music and all the frills. As Khloe jokingly put it, “When we saw the invitation, we just thought, ‘How can you say no to something like this?'” With such an extravagant display of wealth and opulence, it’s no wonder the Kardashian sisters were left starstruck. After all, as Kim put it, “You can’t say no to something like this – it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience!”
