According to the French news Agency, at least five people were killed and 18 injured in a shooting incident at an LGBTQ nightclub in the American city of Colorado.
According to police spokeswoman Pamela Castro, the shooting incident occurred between Saturday and Sunday in which 5 people were killed and 18 were injured. The police detained a suspect from the scene.
A dance party was underway at the club at the time of the incident and the club had organized a performance event on Sunday evening, November 20, in connection with the Transgender Day of Remembrance.
Club Q, the victim of the attack, said in a statement on its Facebook page that it was “thanks to the quick reaction of brave customers who subdued the gunman and put an end to this despicable attack”.
