Akshay Kumar's 'Selfie' flopped badly at the box office, grossing only this much on the third day

: The opening of the film starring Akshay Kumar ‘Selfie’ was very bad. In such a situation, the film was expected to earn well on the weekend, but ‘Selfie’ failed to get an audience in theaters even on holiday Saturdays and Sundays. In such a situation, the status of the film at the ticket window has deteriorated in three days. Let’s see here how much Akshay-Imaaran’s comedy-drama film ‘Selfie’ grossed on the third day of its release i.e. Sunday.

Akshay Kumar’s 2022 release ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Emperor Prithviraj’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’ failed to do wonders at the box office. While ‘Selfie’ is Akshay Kumar’s first release. The makers and Akshay Kumar had high hopes for this movie but this movie also failed to attract the audience at the box office and within 3 days the movie started jaw dropping at the box office.

Talking about the profit, ‘Selfie’ did a business of Rs 2.55 crore on the first day. On the other hand, on the second day of release i.e. Saturday, the film was able to earn Rs 3.80 crore and now the initial figures of the third day i.e. Sunday earnings have also arrived. According to Sacklin’s report, ‘Selfie’ has collected only Rs 3.90 crore on the third day of its release. With this, the total collection of the film has now risen to Rs 10.25 crore. This is probably the first time a movie has become a box office disaster so soon.

‘Selfie’ is the official Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Driving License’ which stars Prithviraj and Suraj Venjaramoodu in lead roles. On the other hand, Akshay Kumar, Emraan Hashmi, Nushrat Bharucha and Diana Penty have starred in ‘Selfie’ directed by Raj Mehta. This movie was released in theaters on February 24, 2023.

At the same time, filmmaker Ekta Kapoor endorsed Akshay Kumar and also gave a strong message praising Akshay and his professionalism. Highlighting someone’s low points only to belittle them is a huge low point in itself!” “incentive”

On the work front, Akshay has OMG 2, Soorarai Pottru remake, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and many more projects in the pipeline.
