Akshay Kumar is back with a bang, and this time it’s with the sequel to his 2019 hit, Kesari. The trailer for Kesari 2 dropped on April 3, and the movie is set to hit theaters on April 18. But that’s not all – Akshay has already confirmed Kesari 3, and it’s going to be based on the life of General Hari Singh Nalwa.
Let’s take a step back. The first Kesari film told the story of the historic Battle of Saragarhi, where Akshay played the role of brave Havildar Ishar Singh. In Kesari 2, he’s playing the role of lawyer C. Sankaran Nair, who fought against the British in court and even spoke out against the Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
So, what’s Kesari 3 all about? Akshay says it’s going to be based on the life of General Hari Singh Nalwa, but he hasn’t revealed who’s going to play the lead role. Could it be him again? After all, he’s been a part of the Kesari franchise from the start.
