After winning Player of the Match, Yashasvi accepted his mistake. You know why he apologized to Rituraj

The second T20 match between India and Australia was played in Thiruvananthapuram and in that match too, India did not let Australia come close to winning. In this game Australia only won the toss and nothing else. India was invited to bat first and India recorded their highest score in the T20 format. India scored 235 runs for a loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs while Australia could only score 191 runs and lost the game by 44 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal was adjudged the player of the match of that game, who almost eliminated Australia from the game at the very start. Jaiswal played an innings of 53 runs in just 25 balls, including 9 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from this, he also took two catches in fielding and one of them was really great.

After receiving the Player of the Match award, Yashasvi accepted the mistake he made in the first T20 match and said that he immediately apologized to Ruturaj Gaikwad after this mistake. In fact, in the first T20 match in Visakhapatnam, Yashasvi Jaiswal played one shot and ran quickly for two runs. After completing the first run, he confidently called Ruturaj for the second run and almost reached the halfway point. Ruturaj also trusted his call and came over half the pitch but after that Jaiswal felt he wasn’t going to finish the run so he turned and Ruturaj had no chance to get back at the striker’s end. There was only one left and he was thrown out and returned to the pavilion without having played a single ball.

After picking up the Player of the Match award in the second game, Yashasvi said, “I am still learning. It was my mistake in the last game and I apologized to Ruturaj. I accepted my mistake. Rutu Bhai Bade Nice and friendly person.” I have worked a lot on my fitness. I’m trying to improve my shots. I also work on my mental state and believe in my training sessions.”

Apart from this, speaking about his brilliant innings in the second game, Yashasvi said, “This (innings) was really special for me. I tried to play every shot I had. I tried to play fearlessly. I was confident in my hitting decisions. Surya Bhai and VVS Sir told me to play completely freely. I was asked to play freely.
