Indian media have claimed that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has resigned, there are reports that Ali Ahmad Jalali will be appointed head of the new interim government.
Earlier, the US and British media claimed that the talks were taking place in Kabul under the mediation of Abdullah, head of the National Reconciliation Council, at the request of Taliban leaders, and that Afghan President Ashraf Ghani was expected to resign.
