Buenos Aires will host a prominent Web3 conference next year, aiming to unite institutional finance with consumer-focused blockchain development to drive real-world impact. The AdoptionCon event, scheduled for Wednesday, November 19, 2025, is an official part of Devconnect Week.
The one-day conference at HIT Polo in Buenos Aires seeks to bridge the gap between large corporations, investment funds, and everyday users of digital products. It will feature two distinct tracks and more than 50 international speakers.
Polina Smirnova, the event producer and founder of Epic Web3, emphasized the focus on practical applications. “AdoptionCon is about what works in the real world,” Smirnova said. “Our goal is to bring together those building solid infrastructure — banks, funds, and protocols — with those designing products people actually use daily. It’s about connecting these two worlds.”

The Institutional Track will cover topics such as yield-bearing stablecoins, institutional-grade decentralized finance (DeFi), enterprise permissioned chains, real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, and on-chain regulatory compliance. This track aims to facilitate the seamless integration of the crypto-economy into traditional financial markets.
In parallel, the Builders & Users Track will address end-user adoption and consumer solutions. Discussions will include PayFi payment infrastructure, Web3 neobanks, appchains, DeFi superapps, and strategies for accelerating consumer product growth. Challenges related to user experience, frictionless onboarding, and incentive mechanisms for scaling Web3 products will also be explored.
Smirnova noted that the collaboration between these sectors is crucial for future adoption. “We want the institutional side to see what consumers are actually using, and for consumer builders to understand how major financial players are standardizing processes,” she added. “Both spaces are maturing quickly, but the true future of adoption will come from their collaboration.”

More than 1,000 participants are expected, including developers, founders, analysts, media, and executives from both Web3 and traditional companies. The event will feature keynotes, interactive panels, workshops, and live podcasts. Networking opportunities include coffee breaks, an executive lunch, and a closing happy hour with a local tasting.
Initial partners include Status Network, Brevis, Routescan, Rayls, and Pi Squared. These projects focus on scalability, governance, and on-chain data transparency, reflecting the conference’s goal of linking infrastructure with user experience.
“What we see today is a convergence: traditional companies looking to tokenize assets or integrate on-chain payments, and Web3 protocols adopting institutional compliance standards,” Smirnova stated. “AdoptionCon will be a neutral space to find synergies between both worlds.”
AdoptionCon will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time. Tickets are available through Luma, with standard and guaranteed seating options. Media passes can be requested via the official event form.
