Aditi Rao Hydari’s 2024 was a whirlwind. She tied the knot with actor Siddharth, but before that, she made waves with her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut series ‘Heeramandi’. Everyone wanted to recreate her iconic moves, but no one could. She was even compared to the legendary Meena Kumari.
In a chat with Farah Khan, Aditi revealed that saying yes to Siddharth was a no-brainer. She gushed about his charming and down-to-earth nature. Aditi said, “I didn’t need a second to decide. He’s a lot of fun and a great human being – what you see is what you get, and he’s very lovable.”
Aditi also raved about Siddharth’s ability to bring people together. She shared, “If he knows someone is close to me, he makes sure to bring everyone together. I’ve grown up like that, and I genuinely love him for it.” She added, “I don’t feel the need to lie because he’s actually a good singer, dancer, and actor.”
However, Aditi’s career didn’t exactly soar after ‘Heeramandi’. In the same conversation with Farah, she mentioned that she thought she’d reached a milestone in her career after working with Bhansali. But the reality was different. Aditi confessed, “Nothing happened. Not even a single offer, not even from a vegetable market, because after ‘Heeramandi’, everyone praised me so much. I thought I’d get a lot of exciting offers, but then I started thinking, what’s going on? It was a dry spell.”
Aditi also opened up about getting married twice, saying they had to do it at different times so they could balance work and their personal life. On Farah’s show, the duo even cooked Aditi’s favorite Hyderabadi dish, ‘Khagina’, and shared the recipe.
