The world of Bollywood is filled with fascinating stories, and Adi Irani, brother of renowned actress Aruna Irani, has his own share of experiences to recount. Adi, known for his roles in films like “Dil”, “Beta”, and “Baazigar”, recently reminisced about sharing the screen with none other than Salman Khan in the movie “Chori Chori Chupke Chupke”. In a candid interview with Filmymantar Media, Adi revealed that Salman was quite the prankster on set and even recalled an incident where Salman had thrown him into a glass frame, leaving him bloody and bruised.
Adi spoke about working with Salman in “Chori Chori Chupke Chupke” and shared that the actor’s behavior was not about being arrogant or rude to those around him, but rather about doing things on his own terms and according to his mood. If Salman wasn’t up for doing something, he simply wouldn’t do it. Adi attributed this to Salman’s childish nature rather than ego. As Adi delved deeper into his experience, he remembered a specific incident during the filming of “Chori Chori Chupke Chupke” that left a mark – literally.
Adi Irani Opens Up About Salman Khan
Recalling the incident, Adi said, “During the shoot of ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke’, Salman threw me into a glass frame. My face was injured by the glass shards, and I was bleeding profusely. It was a terrible state. If I had said no, the shooting would have been canceled, and it would have been postponed for a month or two, causing losses to the makers, but I chose to support the producers.” This anecdote offers a glimpse into the unpredictable nature of Salman’s behavior on set.
Salmans Reaction Was Surprising
When asked about Salman’s reaction to the incident, Adi shared that initially, Salman simply walked out without apologizing or showing any concern. “He just went outside, didn’t say sorry or anything, and went to his room. He was angry, and even though he saw the blood, he just left.” However, the next day, Salman invited Adi to his room and expressed genuine remorse for his actions. “He told me, ‘Adi, I’m really sorry. I couldn’t even look into your eyes. I feel terrible about what happened.'” Adi noted that Salman spoke to him very kindly, showing a more compassionate side to his personality.
