Acer Unveils FreeSense Ring: Titanium Smart Ring Tracks Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen Levels

Acer just unveiled its first smart ring, the FreeSense Ring, at Computex 2025 in Taiwan. This sleek device could give Samsung’s Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring a run for their money.

The FreeSense Ring boasts advanced health tracking and AI features. It uses PPG sensors to measure biometrics like heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep quality. This data is then analyzed by AI to offer personalized health insights.

The ring’s body is made of lightweight aluminum alloy, weighing in at just 2-3 grams. It’s available in sizes 7 to 13 and meets 5ATM water resistance standards, meaning you can wear it while swimming or diving.

What sets the FreeSense Ring apart is its comfort and lack of extra subscription fees. Unlike some competitors, like Oura Ring, which charges $69.99 per month for full features, Acer’s smart ring doesn’t require any additional payments.

The FreeSense Ring comes in two stylish colors: sleek black and rose gold. Acer will announce pricing and availability soon.

This isn’t the only exciting product Acer’s shown off recently. The company also unveiled the Swift Edge 14 AI laptop, featuring a stunning OLED display and weighing less than 1 kilogram, at Computex 2025.
