President Luis Abinader supervised the extensive program of works with an investment of more than 500 million pesos, executed by the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC) in different sectors of the Sánchez Ramírez province.
The MOPC carried out the reconstruction of the Cotuí-La Mata-Pimentel highway and the rehabilitation of the La Mata-Angelina highway, as well as the intervention of more than 10 neighborhoods in different parts of the province.
The long day of works covered the asphalting of the neighborhoods: Santa Rosa, Las Colinas, Los Mineros, La yagua, La Bija, Las Flores and La Fortuna, as well as the street that gives access to the Professor Juan Bosch school and the construction of the Cruce Barraquito road, Loma Majima, in its three stages A, B and C.
Also the president, this weekend opened the Ramona Neris Sosa Mirror Basic School, in the Sabana Perdida sector of the Santo Domingo Norte Municipality.
