“Within the framework of our mission to protect the most vulnerable, through the Supérate program, with an investment of more than 41,700 million pesoswe will benefit 1,650,000 families, with double what they received before the pandemic”, explained President Abinader.
The president assured that he has set a precedent in terms of social protection in our country, also adding that the number of transfers to the Supérate card will increase, the increase in the Bono Gas subsidy and the expansion of food rations in the Economic Dining Rooms , for what you have assigned 14,540 million pesos from the national budget.
Abinader accepted that inflation has been an issue that has given the government problems, but that they have been able to manage with the 100% fuel subsidy to stop the rise in fuel prices.
“Our plan has led us to subsidize 100% of the increase in fuels. Had they not done so, inflation would have increased by 6% per year,” the president said.
The president assured that fertilizers and components used in agricultural production would be directly subsidized, such as the subsidy of up to 10% of imports of corn, wheat, soy or flour and vegetable fat.
