The Association of Multiple Banks of the Dominican Republic (ABA) signed an agreement with the company Inmotion, regional representative of Google Cloud Platform and Salesforcein order to carry out initiatives that promote financial inclusion, as part of the National Strategy led by the Central Bank in this important country objective.
The agreement, signed by the president of the ABA, Rosanna Ruiz, and by Aida Taverasgeneral manager of Inmotion, establishes actions in pursuit of digital transformation, innovation and the development of new financial products.
Similarly, contemplates the commitment to improve and promote the exchange of experiences and knowledgein the joint interest of transforming and modernizing Dominican communities towards the information society, reported the ABA.

He stated that, in line with the National Strategy for Financial Inclusionit seeks to give an important boost to issues related to the digitization of processes and efficiency, not only to optimize services for multiple banking users, but also to reach the 49% of Dominicans excluded from formal financial services.
Taveras pointed out that it is intended to contribute to the strengthening of digital securitythe protection of consumer privacy and the development of new services for the benefit of users, especially those who still do not have access to traditional banking.
