A major step by the Taliban government to control inflation

KABUL: The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has waived taxes on groceries to curb inflation.

According to a report of a foreign news agency, after the Afghan Taliban took power in Afghanistan, it was announced to provide great facilities to the people, which has been implemented.

In this regard, the spokesman of the Afghan Taliban and the deputy spokesman of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan Zabihullah Mujahid said that for the convenience of the public, traders have been ordered to reduce prices by 40%.

Zabihullah Mujahid said that the tax on food items has been waived by the Afghan government to control inflation.

In the light of the orders of the Islamic Emirate, the prices of flour, ghee, beans, rice, sugar and other food items have been reduced in Afghanistan.
