Portugal U-19 Kicks Off Euro Qualifiers Against Estonia on Wednesday

Portugal’s Under-19 national soccer team will kick off its European Championship qualification campaign on home turf this Wednesday, hosting Estonia in the first of three group stage matches.

The Portuguese squad is part of Group 11 and is serving as the host nation for this initial qualification series.

The opening match against Estonia will take place in Vila das Aves.

Portugal will then face North Macedonia on the 15th in Paredes, followed by a match against Belgium on the 18th in Paços de Ferreira.

The top two teams from each group, along with the best third-placed team across all groups, will advance to the Elite Round.

This subsequent qualification phase is scheduled for spring 2026.

From the Elite Round, seven teams will qualify to join host nation Wales in the final tournament of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
