Bad Bunny Dominates Billboard Latin Awards, Throws Star-Studded Miami Bash

Following a dominant night at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, Bad Bunny continued his celebration with an exclusive after-party in Miami. The Puerto Rican superstar hosted guests at Gekko, his Japanese-inspired steakhouse.

He had just received the Latin Artist of the 21st Century award from screen legend Rita Moreno. Bad Bunny also took home 11 of his 27 nominations, including Artist of the Year.

The high-profile event was organized by David Grutman of Groot Hospitality, alongside DraftKings and Rimas Music. It drew a mix of Latin and international entertainment figures.

The guest list featured many stars who attended the Billboard Awards. Among them were Daddy Yankee, Elvis Crespo, Jowell and Randy, and Isabella Ladera.

Bad Bunny and David Grutman opened Gekko in April 2022. Located in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood, it serves premium Wagyu cuts and creative sushi.

The restaurant features a sophisticated ambiance with exclusive cocktails. It also includes an intimate lounge area.

The name Gekkō means "moonlight" in Japanese, reflecting the restaurant’s elegant and mysterious vibe. It can accommodate 185 diners.

Upon its opening, Bad Bunny stated, "Sitting with friends and enjoying good food is one of the moments I value most." The after-party exemplified this sentiment.
