This is where the best teams from around the globe battle it out. We’ve seen a season full of intense matches, surprising upsets, and plays that will stick in our minds. Now, all eyes turn to Champions Paris. Everyone wants to see which team will lift the trophy and become the next world champion.
Teams earn their spot at this ultimate showdown in a couple of ways. Only the strongest make it to the final stage of VCT 2025. The top eight teams get a direct invite. These are the ones who finished in the top two spots of their international leagues. Another eight teams secure their place by gathering Championship Points throughout the entire season. This system ensures only the elite gather in Paris.

How the Competition Works
The tournament features two main parts, each designed to test the teams’ grit and skill.
Group Stage (September 12 – 22)
The sixteen teams are split into four groups. Each group features teams from different international leagues. They play in a double-elimination format. Only two teams from each group move on to the next round. This early stage is all about proving consistency.
Playoffs (September 25 – October 5)
The final eight teams compete in a double-elimination bracket. The Grand Final is a best-of-5 series. This is where a single team will be crowned the world champion. Every match here carries massive weight.

Fans can get in on the action with Pick’Ems! Predict match outcomes both in the game and on the official website, valorantesports.com. You can earn points, win special prizes, and compete against friends on the leaderboards. It’s a great way to show your knowledge and support.

The Champions 2025 Collection drops on September 4. This premium gold-themed collection celebrates all the amazing plays we’ll see on the world stage. Like before, half of the net revenue from the bundle goes to all VCT teams. It’s a cool way to support the pros.

One player will earn the title of Champions MVP 2025 in Paris. This follows the legend made in 2024 in Seoul. Who will rise as the next star? Who will claim the special MVP bracelet, designed by Good Art? We’ll have to wait and see!
