Imagine a creature that hunts fiercely in the dead of night but blends in as an ordinary person by day. That’s the chilling concept behind the newest Killer to join Dead by Daylight. Behaviour Interactive has officially launched “The Krasue,” making her available now in the Public Test Build (PTB) version 9.2.0. This addition brings a unique blend of stealth and terror to the popular horror game.
This new update also came with some striking visuals. The artwork features a style reminiscent of classic Thai ghost comics, a look many horror fans will appreciate. Developers even crafted a cool Thai translation for the update’s title, “Sinister Grace,” which becomes “กรุณาอาถรรพ์” (Kruna Athan) – meaning “Enchanted Grace.” This shows a thoughtful approach to the character’s eerie roots.
The Krasue stands out with a unique dual gameplay style. Players can switch between two forms to hunt down Survivors. Her “Krasue form” sees her head float freely, giving her increased movement speed. In this state, she attacks with her “Intestinal Whip.” When she shifts into her human form, she can unleash a vomit attack on Survivors. This spew applies a debuff, making her Intestinal Whip attacks much more powerful afterward.
The Krasue also brings three brand new Perks to the game:
Hex: Overture of Doom
This Perk is all about playing mind games and setting traps. It curses the farthest Generator on the map. If a Survivor tries to repair that Generator, your Terror Radius instantly moves to that spot. This sudden change will panic any nearby Survivors. Even better, you become Undetectable, allowing you to sneak in for a surprise attack without warning.
Ravenous
“Ravenous” puts constant pressure on Survivors across the map. Once you have hooked every single Survivor at least once, all of them will scream. They also enter the Exposed status for a short time. This makes them vulnerable to a one-hit down, creating a terrifying surge of power for the Killer.
Wandering Eye
This Perk helps you track your prey during a chase. When you are actively chasing someone, you can see the aura of any injured Survivors within 16 meters. This extra vision opens up many strategic options, letting you plan your next move or switch targets effectively.
