Futsal fans, get ready! The Record International Masters Futsal is making its grand comeback. It will light up the Portimão Arena on August 23rd and 24th. This year’s event boasts a lineup that’s truly special. We’re talking about Portugal’s own national champion, Benfica, and their strong rivals, Sporting, who finished as vice-champions. From abroad, we have Palma, the three-time European champions, and Barcelona, the runner-up from the last Spanish league. It’s a dream roster of top-tier talent ready to compete.
The tournament took a break last year because of the Futsal World Cup. Now, for its seventh edition, this much-loved event is back in full swing. The organizers are promising the usual exciting spectacle and strong emotions. These players are true artists on the court, and they always deliver amazing performances for the public. If you remember, Kairat from Kazakhstan took home the trophy in 2023. Just like in earlier years, Sporting and Benfica will not play against each other in this competition. This setup ensures fresh matchups throughout the tournament.

The grand final for these youth teams is set for August 23rd at 7:00 PM. In Group 1, we will see Santaluziense, GEJUPCE Portimão, Portimonense, and São Pedro Futsal Clube de Faro battling it out. Group 2 is made up of Pedra Mourinha, Louletano, Ferragudense, and Castromarinense. It’s a fantastic way to showcase the sport’s future stars and give them a taste of big-time competition.
