The Arab state news agency says the Gulf state of Kuwait has decided to resume educational activities from October. The Kuwaiti education department says it is considering a proposal for a new alternative classroom early next academic year.
Education Minister Dr. Ali Al-Mudhaf said that according to the proposal, schoolchildren would be divided into two groups and each group would be called to school on alternate days, so that both groups could continue their educational continuity.
He said the academic session would begin on October 3, after which unvaccinated students and teachers would take weekly PCR tests, but the condition was applicable to students 12 years and older.
The Minister of Education said that under this scheme, the schools would run for a month and then they would be reviewed so that they could make the next decision and during that time the teaching of scientific and technical subjects would not be taught.
