A Star-Studded Event
The tenth edition of the 100 kilometers of Champions, hosted by Valentino Rossi at his Ranch in Tavullia, Italy, was a resounding success. The event, which has become a staple in the racing calendar, brought together some of the biggest names in the sport.
A Family Affair
Luca Marini, Valentino’s brother, took top honors in the ‘flat track’ style race on the first day, with Franco Morbidelli coming in second and Rossi himself finishing third after a dramatic fall in the last corner.
Specialists Take Center Stage
The highlight of the event was the pairs race, where Valentino and Marini were outshone by specialists Diogo Moreira and Thomas Chareyre. The Brazilian and French duo dominated the competition, relegating the local favorites to second place.
A Strong Spanish Contingent
The podium was completed by Lorenzo Baldasarri and Elia Bartolini, while Pecco Bagnaia, the 2024 MotoGP runner-up, finished sixth alongside Marco Bezzechi. Tito Rabat was the top-performing Spanish rider, with Pedro Acosta finishing last after partnering with Isle of Man TT legend Michael Dunlop.
