New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated Shahbaz Sharif on his election as Prime Minister.
According to details, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif on the social networking website Twitter.
He further said that India wants peace and stability in the region so that we can focus on development challenges and the welfare of the people.

It may be recalled that Shahbaz Sharif has been elected the 23rd Prime Minister of the country and first of all the Turkish President has telephoned and congratulated him.
Shahbaz Sharif takes oath as PM
The Turkish President said that he was very happy to be elected Prime Minister and was sure that Pak-Turkish fraternal relations would be further strengthened.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Pak-Turks are trustworthy brothers and want more closeness in relations.
The newly elected Prime Minister thanked President Erdogan for his congratulations and extended his best wishes.
It may be recalled that PML-N President Shahbaz Sharif had recently taken oath as the 23rd Prime Minister of Pakistan.
