Mumbai. Indian pacemaker Mohammad Siraj said that the ball thrown at Ross Taylor would be a ‘dream’ ball for any bowler. Siraj played a key role in pitching New Zealand for 62 in the first inning on the second day of Test 2, picking up three first-order early wickets in his opening spell.

Regarding the ball that was thrown at Taylor, Siraj said: “The plan was to decorate the field for the inward ball and the goal was to hit the pads, but from the way he was getting into the rhythm, I thought why don’t throw the ball out. That worked. It was a drum ball for any fast bowler.
