18-year-old Winger Oumar Camara Excels in New Striker Role

An 18-year-old winger has successfully transitioned into a striker role for Portuguese club Vitória SC, offering new tactical flexibility and impressing team management.

Oumar Camara, primarily a winger, was given his second start in the center-forward position by coach Luís Pinto during a recent match against Benfica. His performance has reportedly left a strong impression on the club’s leadership.

The technical staff now views Camara as a viable third option in attack. This adds to their offensive lineup, which includes established strikers Nélson Oliveira and the currently injured Ndoye.

Looking ahead, Noah Saviolo is anticipated to rejoin the starting lineup for Vitória SC’s upcoming league fixture against Tondela. Saviolo will step in for Fábio Blanco, who is serving a suspension.
