Zwift Play, the first game controllers exclusively for Zwift

Zwift, the virtual cycling platform, has launched this Wednesday Zwift Play, its new game controllers designed for this application and that it will allow users to control their activity settings from the handlebars instead of using the screen or keyboard.

In this way, Zwift goes one step further when it comes to giving its users more control over the application after the development of Zwift Companion with the Zwift Play controllers, allowing riders to make setup changes without getting off the bike.

These Zwift Play controllers can be attached to the handlebars using silicone straps for easy mounting and dismounting. On the left controller, a directional control will allow better handling through the game menus, while the access buttons located on the right controller when doing actions such as giving Ride On’s, deploying PowerUps or teleporting to Pacer Groups.

The two controls also include paddles that perform the steering and braking functions as if you were driving on the roadmoving the lever in to brake and pulling out to turn the bike.

These new controllers will launch alongside the new Beta Zwift Play gaming experience, which will include new features like Repack Rush. The price of Zwift Play will be available for a limited time with a discounted price of 99 euros for users during this testing phase, while it will be available for sale to the public for 149 euros.
