Aleksandr Zverev put on an excellent display of his attacking game by defeating world number two Daniil Medvedev in straight sets to win the ATP Finals tennis tournament title for the second time on Sunday.
After beating top ranked Novak Djokovic in three sets in the semi-finals, Zverev put in an even better performance to beat Medvedev 6-4, 6-4.

Zverev adopted a dominant strategy from the start and gave US Open champion Medvedev no chance. Zverev later said: “It was part of my strategy. He is the best baseline player in the world and against him you have to control the points and that’s what I did today and that’s why I was successful.
Earlier this month, Djokovic used the same strategy to beat Medvedev in the final of the Paris Masters. Previously, Pierre Hughes Herbert and Nicolas Mahout defeated Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury 6-4, 7-6 (0) to win the doubles title.
