The investigation into the untimely death of Assamese singer Zubeen Garg is continuing internationally. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Assam Police’s CID wing has arrived in Singapore to further the probe.
The two-member team is led by Munna Prasad Gupta, Special Director General of Police (CID). They reached Singapore on Monday, October 20.
The team is scheduled to meet with Singaporean authorities today, Tuesday, as part of their ongoing inquiry. They are also expected to interact with officers from the Singapore Police Force.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma previously stated that the SIT head, Munna Prasad Gupta, will brief the media upon the team’s return. He will provide updates on the investigation’s progress at that time.
