Zinedine Zidane’s Goal at Los Cármenes Stadium

Luca Zidane Becomes New Granada Goalkeeper

Granada has finally found a reliable goalkeeper after months of searching. The Andalusian team has signed Luca Zidane, son of the legendary Zinedine Zidane, to become the new goalkeeper of Los Cármenes. Zidane has accepted the team’s proposal and will commit to the team for the next three seasons.

Granada tried to negotiate with Eibar for one of their goalkeepers, but the team refused to listen to offers. As a result, Granada was forced to pay the French goalkeeper’s release clause, which amounts to half a million euros, to obtain his services.

Luca Zidane Commits to Granada for Three Seasons

Zidane started his career in the lower categories of Real Madrid before moving to Racing in the 2019-20 season. He then tried his luck in Ray before joining Eibar, where he matured between the sticks and proved himself to be a sober and efficient goalkeeper with his feet.

Great Maturity

The French goalkeeper’s maturity is expected to be a significant boost to Granada’s defense. Zidane arrives at Los Cármenes with the responsibility of prolonging the lineage of good goalkeepers who have recently defended the red-and-white goal, including Rui Silva, Maximian, and Batalla.

Zidane’s arrival at Granada comes at a crucial time for the team. He is expected to maintain the level offered by his predecessors and help the team build a solid and competitive defense.
