Zimbabwe and Oman top their group, check out the condition of other teams including West Indies and Sri Lanka

Eight teams directly qualified for the ICC ODI World Cup which will take place in India later this year. The qualifying matches are played in the host of Zimbabwe for 2 places. So far, after a total of 8 matches, Oman and Zimbabwe have seen dominance in their respective groups. With both teams winning their two games, they currently occupy the top position in the points table with 4 points each.

The Zimbabwe team is included in Group-A, in which it has teams from the West Indies, Nepal, America and the Netherlands. In this group, there is the Windies team in position number 2, which has played 1 game so far. West Indies won against America by 39 runs in this. On the other hand, the Nepal team occupies the number 3 position in the group, which has won one and lost one of the 2 games played so far.

If we look at the position of the teams in Group B of the World Cup Qualifier, then Oman is still in first place. Oman had won the matches against Ireland and the United Arab Emirates by 5 wickets. In the second place of this group is the Sri Lankan team, which has played 1 match so far and won a great 175-run win against the UAE. The Scotland team is in third place in this group with 2 points.

The top 3 teams from both groups will earn a place in the Super Six. After this, the top 2 team will get a chance to play in the ODI World Cup which will be held in India later this year.
