Veteran actress Zeenat Aman has returned to Instagram after a brief break, sharing an update about her health. In a new post on Friday evening, Zeenat revealed that she had been hospitalized due to a health issue.
Zeenat’s Instagram Post
Zeenat shared three photos on Instagram and wrote, “Greetings from the recovery room. I’m not blaming you for thinking I’ve abandoned my social media cravings. My profile has been pretty quiet lately. As the great Indian saying goes – what to do?”
She continued, “The paperwork fatigue and the anxiety of a pending medical procedure kept me busy for a few weeks. But now that I’m emerging from the other side of this experience, I’m inspired to continue storytelling on Instagram.”
Instagram Isn’t Reality
Zeenat emphasized that Instagram isn’t reality, cautioning her followers about the potential pitfalls of social media. She wrote, “I love what this platform allows me to do, but there’s something unsettling about the machinations of monetized social media. As I connect with you here and sometimes earn money from this account, it’s crucial for me to remind you that Instagram isn’t reality.”
She advised her followers to be mindful of their social media usage, suggesting that they mute handles that make them feel bad about themselves or increase their anxiety. “You don’t need to spend six hours a day mindlessly scrolling through your feed. Learn from an old woman and mute those handles that make you feel bad about yourself, increase your anxiety, or force you to buy things!”

As for her upcoming projects, Zeenat is set to appear in the Netflix series ‘The Royals’, which will be released on May 9.
