Zaragoza and Malaga sign the tie in La Romareda
In the midst of the revolt that engulfs Zaragoza and the protests from the fans, today’s game was very important for both teams. Both were looking for a victory that would allow them to get out of a losing streak that was more than evident, but finally the two signed the tie.
The first half was marked by a brilliant start from Zaragoza. Very clear chances by JIM’s men, who managed to stop Dani Barrios with great saves. And in football, if you don’t take advantage of opportunities, sometimes you pay dearly. The first and only clear chance for Málaga in the match was a goal. An error in the exit of the ball by the Zaragoza defense was taken advantage of by Antoñín to score a great goal with the outside of his right boot. The game went to rest with 0-1 on the marker.
The second part was different. With more rhythm, although with fewer occasions. Zaragoza proposed more and, in the end, the pitcher goes to the fountain so much that one of them had to end up inside. It was a penalty. Eugeni equalized from eleven meters, tricking Barrios. Little else happened in the match, which had intensity at times and more chances for Zaragoza that sought victory, but without success. A tie that leaves both dissatisfied, more to Zaragoza than to Malaga.
