Viral images, supposedly showing the 37-year-old actor in a new Prada campaign, have sparked a flurry of confusion, memes, and guesses across social media. In these pictures, Efron sports designer clothes, a noticeable spray tan, much fuller lips, and incredibly smooth skin.

Even though the high-fashion style of the photos gained traction online, Prada has not officially announced any partnership with Efron. Also, the images are clearly altered.
One image, showing the actor in a sharp all-white suit, first appeared on a Facebook page called The Celeb Talk Girl. It has since been confirmed that these pictures were made by AI.
The page’s bio clearly states, “Pop culture chaos, celeb tea, parodies, and just the right dose of satire. All content is for entertainment and fair use purposes only. Please don’t take it too seriously.”
Other fake images also floated around. These showed Efron in a blue button-down leather shirt, making his eyes pop. Another showed him parasailing, and yet another in a white T-shirt and yellow shorts for a pretend “It’s Summer Somewhere” collection. Representatives for Efron and Prada have been contacted for their comments.
How Did Fans React to the Viral Zac Efron Prada Ads?
At first, some social media users were genuinely worried. “Why would he want to change his beautiful face?” one person asked. Another wondered, “WHAT DO YOU MEAN? WHO IS THAT?”
However, many quickly figured out the truth. “It took me about 10 seconds to search and find out it was AI. People should have more discernment,” a third person commented on a TikTok post reacting to the all-white suit ad. Others were fast to spot the clear oddities in the photos.

“Why would any of you look at this photo and think it’s real?” a fourth person jumped in. “Please use your brains. My goodness, we are COOKED.” Efron himself faced plastic surgery rumors back in 2021 when fans noticed a change in his look. He cleared things up with Men’s Health in 2022, explaining he had broken his jaw after a fall.
