Yuzvendra Chahal had changed his game plan, he himself told how he achieved success in the third T20

The Indian team managed to win by 48 runs in the do-or-die match against South Africa. Turntable star Yuzvendra Chahal played a major role in the India team’s victory. Chahal took three important pieces of land for Africa. After proving costly in the first two games, Chahal said he got this success because he changed his game plan.

Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets for 20 runs in four overs and also earned the man of the match title for his performance. Speaking about his game plan, Chahal said: “In the last two games, I made mistakes. I tried to throw more sliders and hit the ball faster. But now I changed my seam position. Getting spin is a big part of my game. I got the ball spun and tried to put the ball in slowly.

Chahal further said: “I put the ball in the area that is strong for me. All my focus was on this thing. When the batsmen apply the reverse sweep, the situation becomes difficult for the bowlers. But I had another plan and the field was also made accordingly. My bowling was not good in two matches and the coach told me to play with my own strength.

We reported that in the first two matches, Chahal had spent 75 bowling runs 6.1 overs and only earned one wicket. After the poor performance, doubts were raised about Chahal’s presence in the team. But Chahal has not only silenced critics of him, he has also helped Team India stay in the series. With this, Chahal has once again shown why he is currently Team India’s number one in this format.
