Yungblud: British Rocker’s Music, Acting, Bludfest, and Pansexual Identity Explored

Dominic Harrison, better known as Yungblud, is making waves in the music world, one powerful song at a time. This British rocker from Doncaster burst onto the scene in 2017. His debut single, "King Charles," came out on his first EP, which was also self-titled. Yungblud’s first full album, 21st Century Liability, hit stores in July 2018. That same summer, he took the album on tour as part of the Vans Warped Tour, showing off his energetic live shows.

As his fame grew, Yungblud teamed up with some big names in music. He worked with Halsey, Travis Barker, and Machine Gun Kelly. These collaborations came before his second album, Weird!, which arrived in 2020. The singer’s self-titled third album followed in 2022. Fans recently got his fourth album, Idols, in June 2025. Before its release, Yungblud shared that this album is just the first part of a bigger musical journey. He described the two-part album as "a love letter to self-reclamation… to rock music… [and] to life in all its f—king madness." He shared these thoughts with Billboard in May 2025.

A Bond with a Rock Legend: Ozzy Osbourne

Yungblud has openly spoken about how much Ozzy Osbourne inspired him. He even called the late rock icon one of his closest friends. Their connection grew after Osbourne appeared in Yungblud’s 2022 music video for "The Funeral." Before Osbourne passed away in July 2025, he gave Yungblud one of his signature crosses. The "Lovesick Lullaby" singer proudly wore it during his 2025 MTV Video Music Awards performance, honoring the legendary rocker.

A History of High-Profile Romances

Yungblud’s love life has also made headlines. He and Halsey dated for a short time in 2019. They eventually decided they were better off as friends. Halsey’s song "Finally // Beautiful Stranger" is reportedly about their time together. Later, in June 2021, Yungblud started seeing Jesse Jo Stark. They had a brief split but found their way back to each other in August 2025, rekindling their romance.

Openly Embracing His Identity

Yungblud is very open about who he is, including his sexuality. He identifies as pansexual, meaning he is attracted to people of all genders. "I’m the pan man — I’m the f—ing pan," Yungblud told Attitude in July 2025. He explained that this label "allows me to be who I am; it’s the one that gives me most leeway. Do you know what I mean? I feel like I’m less insecure about it."

The Brains Behind Bludfest

Beyond his own music, Yungblud created something special for his fans: the Bludfest music festival. He launched it in 2024, and the second event is set for June 2025.
