How do you feel about the award?
The truth is that I am proud that our work in Tokyo was at the top and now we are rewarded for the Olympic moment. I am proud to receive so many blessings and so many awards that it makes me want to keep working.
Can you exceed 16 meters?
Everything is possible in life. I do not set limits, I am an athlete who can still give much more and work does it all. If your mind is fixed, everything can be achieved and next year will be very prosperous. I have in mind the 16 meters.
What memory do you have of gold?
It is a moment that not only will I remember, it will be remembered throughout the years. More moments like that will come and that people love it, like it and can live it like me.
He had a difficult childhood …
We can never forget where we come from, where we were born, where we grew up and that is marked and I talk about that. I am of humble origin in Venezuela and that has made me stronger, work harder and regardless of where we come from, we can move forward and fulfill our dreams.
You have recently visited your country …
I was in my country recently, people turned to receive their first Olympic medalist, I had a great time, I enjoyed it and I had lived it in a great and fruitful way. It is always an honor to go to Venezuela.
