Today, the Apple Store opens pre-orders of the Apple Watch Series 7. The new generation of smartwatch is available at 429 euros and will be delivered to the first customers of October 15th.
A few weeks after the official announcement, Apple delivers on its promise to release the new Watch Series 7 in the fall of 2021.
The three available editions are kept, differing only by the box material: aluminium, stainless steel and titanium. Whoever replaces the current Apple Watch doesn’t have to worry about accessories, as they are still compatible.
The Apple Watch Series 7 maintains the design of its predecessors, but the integrated screens increase in size by a millimeter, up to 41 and 25 millimeters, respectively. Along with narrower screen bezels, Apple promises a 20% larger image area as a result of this step.
Brightness has also been improved in Always On mode, where the watch face should now be much easier to see.
The new smartwatch charges up to 33% faster via the included magnetic power adapter
