Yogi Adityanath’s life is about to hit the big screen. A biopic titled “Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi” is in the works, and the filmmakers just dropped the poster on the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister’s birthday.
The movie, directed by Ravindra Gautam, stars Anant Joshi as Yogi Adityanath. The poster features Joshi dressed in saffron robes, with a determine look on his face and a tilak on his forehead. The film is based on the book “The Monk Who Became Chief Minister” by Shantanu Gupta.
“Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi” is set to release on August 1, 2025. The film’s producer, Samrat Cinematics, shared the poster on social media with a caption that reads, “He left the world, wore saffron, and immersed himself in service. A yogi who became a whole movement by himself. Our story begins on Yogi ji’s birthday.”
The film also stars Dinesh Lal Yadav, Ajay Mengi, Pawan Malhotra, Rajesh Khattar, Garima Vikrant Singh, and Sarwar Ahuja. The movie has been written by Dilip Bachchan Jha and Priyank Dubey, while the music has been composed by Meet Bros.
The title of the film is inspired by Yogi Adityanath’s birth name, Ajay Singh Bisht. The movie promises to tell the untold story of the Chief Minister’s life, and fans are eagerly waiting for its release.
