Yoan López, MLB baseball player, refused to represent Cuba in the World Classic

joan lopezone of the Cuban relievers with experience in MLBhas declined the invitation to represent the ninth of the Caribbean island in it World Baseball Classic.

The Cuban pitcher had a pass through arizona diamondbacks and in this season with the New York Mets.

This is how the Cuban Baseball Federation (FCB) through a statement:

Yoan López informed us that he thanks but declines the invitation to the Cuban team to the V World Baseball Classic”highlights the Federation.

“We respect your willingness to focus on issues related to your firm with Yomiuri Giants. Thanks for wishing us success. Other opportunities will come” they concluded.

Cuba is about to reveal the list of the 30 baseball players that they will represent in the baseball fair; this is the first time that the island will be able to bring its stars from the Big leagues.
