Yashasvi Jaiswal Captured Orange and Tushar Purple Cap, See Who Else Are the Contenders

In IPL Season 16, the career of Orange and Purple Cap is getting very interesting. Right now, Yashasvi Jaiswal of Rajasthan Royals (RR) has secured the top position on the Orange Cap roster leaving Faf du Plessis behind. On the other hand, in the Purple Cap list, Tushar Deshpande of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has achieved the top position, leaving Arshdeep Singh behind.

Yashasvi Jaiswal won the Orange Cap after playing an excellent innings of 124 runs off just 62 balls in the match against Mumbai Indians. Now Yashasvi has 428 runs in 9 innings while Faf has reached second place with 422 runs.

Devon Conway has now reached third position on the run-scoring list with 414 runs. CSK’s Ruturaj Gaikwad is currently at number four on the Orange Cap list with 354 runs. Other than this, Shubman Gill is at number 5 with 333 runs.

Tushar Deshpande may not have bowled well against Punjab Kings but he managed to pick up 3 wickets in this match. With this, Tushar has now reached the top position on the Purple Cap list with 17 wickets in 9 matches at an average of 21.71.

Arshdeep Singh is now second on this list with 15 wickets in 9 matches. At the same time, Mohammad Siraj and Rashid Khan are at number three and four, in which both have taken 14-14 wickets so far. At number 5 is the leg-spinning Piyush Chawla, now playing for Mumbai Indians, who has taken 13 wickets.
