Yash Dhul’s blast in the Ranji Trophy debut, he scored a century in both innings.

Yash Dhul, the captain of India’s U-19 World Cup winning team, posted a splendid record at the Ranji Trophy. Yash made a special record on his behalf by scoring centuries in both innings of Ranji’s debut match. He has become the seventh player to do so. However, Dhul couldn’t make his Delhi team win. The match between Delhi and Tamil Nadu ended in a draw. Tamil Nadu secured three points in a Ranji Trophy Elite Group H match that ended in a draw on day four based on a first-inning lead.

Delhi declared 228 runs in 60.5 overs in the second innings with 113 unbeaten by opener Dhul and 107 unbeaten by second opener Dhruv Shorey, after which both teams agreed to draw the match. Dhul made his debut in senior cricket, scoring 113 runs in the first innings for Delhi as well. In this way, Dhul scored centuries in both innings of his first top-flight match.

Yash scored 113 runs on 202 balls on 14 fours and a six, while Shorey faced 165 balls in unbeaten innings that included 13 fours. He has become the seventh batsman to score a century in the two innings of his Ranji Trophy debut. Before him MK Pataudi, Surinder Khanna, Madan Lal, Ajay Sharma, Raman Lamba and Rishabh Pant have done this feat.

Let us tell you that Delhi had scored 452 runs in the first innings. In response, Tamil Nadu took a 42-run lead in the early innings with a brilliant 194-run innings from Shah Rukh Khan and 494 hundred-runs from Baba Inderjit, giving them three points in the draw, while Delhi earned one point.
