Xokas Opens Up About Trauma from False Sexual Aggression Allegations

During the last hours, one of the names that has been at the center of attention is Juan Carlos Monedero, a professor and former director of Podemos, due to supposed complaints related to abuse or even sexual aggressions. This comes on the heels of the case involving Íñigo Errejón, and social networks have been abuzz with commentary on the issue, not just from users but also from content creators.

One such creator is Xokas, known for speaking his mind on hot topics. He has previously been attacked by the Ministry of Equality, which he has not forgotten. Recently, Xokas shared a personal experience that left him traumatized. He explained that he once used a photo of a relatively unknown Swedish model, and with the help of a colleague who is a hacker, they were able to identify the model’s face using a program that can search for images on the internet. Xokas described how the artificial intelligence behind the program can sometimes create fake faces that are not traceable, which led to a potentially problematic situation. Luckily, they were able to catch the issue before it escalated.

This experience has left Xokas with significant trauma, especially considering the possibility of false complaints. He fears that if he were to be falsely accused, it could lead to severe consequences. Xokas explained, “Imagine that I didn’t catch him, imagine that this didn’t happen. What would have happened to me? How do I defend myself from this? It’s a trauma that has been generated because I’m never going to do anything to any woman, but what if a woman says that I have done something to her?” He also brought up a hypothetical scenario where he could be accused of sexual assault by someone he had a consensual encounter with, who later regretted it and went to the police.

Xokas also expressed concerns about how he would defend himself against false accusations, given his public position. He feels that he is more likely to be targeted because of his fame and influence. Xokas questioned how he could prove his innocence in such situations, especially when there are people who might have a vested interest in tarnishing his reputation. He I’d ask whether he needs to record his interactions with others to protect himself, which highlights the difficulties of navigating such situations.

Furthermore, Xokas emphasized that it is precisely when no illegality has been committed that one should worry the most. He countered the common argument that if someone is not going to commit a sexual assault, they should not be worried, saying that this mindset is misguided. According to Xokas, it is when someone is falsely accused that they should be most concerned, as this can lead to damage to their reputation, freedom, and even their livelihood. He noted that if someone is a sexual aggressor and is caught, they should face the consequences, but if they are innocent, they have to worry about being lied about and having their name and honor stained.
