Xiaomi’s new smartphone will have Disney’s ‘finger’ and debut processor

Xiaomi likes to take the first steps in many technologies, and that also includes being the first to use certain processors. This will happen in one of the brand’s next smartphones, the Xiaomi CIVI 3.

Xiaomi CIVI 3 will be the first smartphone to use MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra

The brand announced in the last hours that this will be the first smartphone commanded by the new MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra processor. This processor is an improved version of the processor that equipped, among others, the Redmi K60e of the Xiaomi sub-brand.

For now, the performance details of this processor have not yet been revealed. But the truth is that it will be a chip focused on offering the best possible performance in the upper-middle-range scenario of smartphones.

Xiaomi’s CIVI range of smartphones is exclusive to the Chinese market. But it’s worth noting that these devices end up being able to hit the global market under other names. Let’s take the example of Xiaomi CIVI 2, which arrived in Europe this year as Xiaomi 13 Lite.

Xiaomi CIVI 3 special edition will have collaboration with Disney

But this was not the only information regarding the CIVI 3 already revealed by Xiaomi. The brand also revealed that there will be a special edition of the gear developed in partnership with Disney, in what will be the first collaboration between the two brands.

Remember that Disney celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2023. As such, this smartphone will also serve to mark that date, hoping that the team’s design can be inspired by an iconic character from these animation studios.

Like its predecessor, the Xiaomi CIVI 3 should arrive with a strong focus on design, and the collaboration with Disney is proof of this. And at least in the processor, the potential should already arouse the interest of the fans of the brand for this launch without an official date yet.
