Xiaomi closed 2021 with one of its most important presentations by launching three different models of the high-end of the Xiaomi 12 series and it seems that 2022 will start in the same way. But this time, it will be through the Redmi sub-brand that between January and February 2022 the equally long-awaited K50 model will be able to be presented.

The indication is given by the fact that the smartphone has now obtained approval from the Chinese authority TENAA, which suggests a launch soon. Earlier this month, the Redmi K50 had been detected in the database of the CMIIT certification website.

Unfortunately, no clues about its specifications were obtained from the listings of the two certifications. But rumors about what we can expect from computers are not lacking in the Internet world. Starting with the fact that it is a terminal intended for gaming.

More information also indicates that the terminal will include a triple rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor, complemented by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a two-megapixel macro sensor.

Other information also says that the Redmi K50 series may include a version that will integrate a Samsung HM2 108-megapixel main camera, instead of the previously mentioned 64-megapixel Sony sensor.

But a specification of the Redmi K50 has already been confirmed by Xiaomi itself. The Chinese manufacturer chose the Chinese social network Weibo to announce that the team will control the latest Mediatek processor, the Dimensity 9000.
More is unknown, but the buzz around the terminal will surely lead to many revelations in the near future.

Xiaomi presented its ultra-portable and compact Paipai projector with 4K resolution

In its year-end presentation, Xiaomi flooded the market with novelties and between the enthusiasm for the new smartphones, smartwatch, MIUI 13 interface and Buds 3 headphones, the new Paipai portable mini projector that was also launched simply went unnoticed.

With a minimalist design and a compact size that allows it to be carried in your pocket, the new gadget is a true projection giant with its 4K resolution. It is more aimed at work presentations, but we believe that when it is connected to your laptop, it can also give you a good entertainment experience.

Xiaomi Paipai is equipped with a Wi-Fi module, supports the 5G frequency band transmission protocol, and integrates a Type-C interface. We have already said it, it offers 4K image quality at 30 frames per second and according to Xiaomi it has “ultra-low latency”.

As for the price, it is as “small” as the projector itself, since it is available in China for only 70 euros. Considering that Xiaomi has a habit of shipping Mi devices to Europe, it is possible that the Paipai projector will delight European users next year.
