Xiaomi does not slow down the pace of launches and is preparing to launch another new smartphone in the coming weeks.
The Chinese brand will further expand the Redmi Note family, this time with the 12S model, which will be a familiar smartphone, but with some improvements. Let’s get to know him.
Redmi Note 12S could be a variant of last year’s Note 11S
Xiaomi recently made four new Redmi Note 12 series smartphones available globally: Note 12 4G, Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G, and Note 12 Pro+ 5G, but it looks like the Chinese brand won’t stop there.
In the coming weeks, the Redmi Note 12S should also land in markets around the world. The model is already going through all the international certifications necessary for its launch, which suggests that it will be imminent.
But, according to the latest rumors, the new Note 12S could be a model that we already know. Sources say that it is an upgraded variant of the Redmi Note 11S from last year.
Expected specifications in Redmi Note 12S
However, some of the specifications of the new Xiaomi smartphone have already been advanced in the web world. The Redmi Note 12S is expected to arrive equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that will provide Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.
Inside it will house the Helio G96 processor that will work together with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage capacity. The Note 12 S even runs the Android 13 operating system, under the MIUI 14 interface.
The model will be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 67 watts. This load, by the way, will be one of the improvements over its predecessor, which loads more slowly.
In addition, the triple rear camera setup will house a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle, and even a 2-megapixel macro sensor.
Unfortunately, none of the rumors have given a price forecast for the European market, but perhaps in the next few days this information will be revealed on the web world.
