During this last week, the Chinese brand has been officially revealing several of the specifications included in the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition, whose launch is scheduled for February 16.
Now it’s time to reveal the photographic attributes of this terminal, aimed at the area of video games.
Redmi K50 Gaming Edition with 64 MP primary sensor and Artificial Intelligence technology in the front camera

During the last week, Xiaomi has been officially revealing the different arguments of the new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition that was scheduled to launch on February 16. And after revealing the specifications of the screen and the charging speed, lo and behold, the brand reveals all the optical part that integrates the new smartphone.
Thus, according to Xiaomi, the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition has the 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 as its main sensor and to show the capacity of the main camera, the brand added an image captured by the terminal to the new ad.
It was also revealed that the K50 Gaming Edition will feature a Sony IMX596 front camera with a resolution of 20 megapixels and Artificial Intelligence technology to improve selfie capture.
And although Xiaomi did not reveal more details about the configuration of the terminal’s triple rear camera, several rumors circulating in the web world indicate that the K50 Gaming Edition also has a 13-megapixel OmniVision OV13B sensor and a third sensor with a resolution of two megapixels.
Specifications expected on Redmi K50 Gaming Edition

As we have already mentioned, the Chinese brand has already confirmed some of the specifications integrated in the new Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. In this sense, it is official that the terminal will have a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a touch response rate of 480 Hz, and has also obtained the A+ certification from Display Mate.
On the other hand, to minimize eye strain, the screen of the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition will also use the PWN frequency of 1920 Hz.
For the rest, it is expected to run the Android 12 operating system under Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 interface and to be powered by a 4700 mAh battery with support for 120 watt fast charging.
This will also be the only terminal in this Redmi series with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor at the controls.
