Apparently, Xiaomi is already working on its next folding smartphone that could be called Mix Fold 2.
Now it has been revealed that the Chinese brand wants to launch this model, of which little has been revealed, in the second quarter of 2022.

Little is the information available about Xiaomi’s next folding smartphone. But now the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station advances that the brand will launch the model in the second quarter of 2022.
For now and according to the little information available, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, this being the supposed designation, is expected to arrive equipped with a giant 8.1-inch screen with a super resolution of 2K.
Some news also says that both the outer and inner screens will provide a high refresh rate.
On the other hand, the Chinese brand is expected to use LTPO screens, which suggests that the terminal can offer variable refresh rates, similar to what Samsung does in its high-end terminals.
For the rest, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 is also expected to have Qualcomm’s 8 Gen 1 processor and a large capacity battery, as well as fast charging technology.
We do not know more, but in the near future this could be one of the most talked about devices in the web world, even because it will only be the second foldable of the brand, which creates some expectations about what is to come.
Xiaomi working on 150 watt fast charge
Other news related to Xiaomi indicates that the brand may be preparing to surpass the 120-watt mark in fast charging technology.
The information comes through the Digital Chat Station leaker, which adds that Xiaomi already has the solution and that it will be almost ready to go into mass production. It is believed that the new technology already has support for fast charging at 150 watts.
Possibly, Xiaomi will be able to include this new technology in terminals that are expected to be iconic such as the Xiaomi 12 Ultra or an upcoming model from the Mix line.
