Xiaomi is one of the smartphone manufacturers that is most committed to improving the charging speed of smartphones. In fact, it is the only one that already has two smartphones for sale worldwide with 120W speed: Xiaomi 11T Pro and Black Shark 4.
As it has done with other functions in the past, the natural path for Xiaomi will be to bring this charging speed to the mid-range. And according to the latest rumors, this should happen from 2022.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro can reach a charging speed of 120W
OR filter Digital Chat Station had already advanced in June that a Redmi Note could soon arrive with a load of more than 100W. The same source now anticipates that this load will be 120W and will be reserved for the next generation.
As expected, this will not be an extensive feature in the Redmi Note 11 line. It will be something that we will only see in the most powerful model, which in theory will be the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
As is well known, the last generations of Redmi Note varied in nomenclature within China and worldwide. This raises the possibility that this equipment may have a different name in our market. But this is still speculation.
Remember that the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G, just introduced in China, is the fastest charging device in the line. This one has an already impressive 67W, well above certain high-end on the market.
Digital Chat Station’s track record is positive on these rumors. But until official confirmation, we should look at these data with a “pinch of salt.”
