Xiaomi will already be working on its next cheap smartphone. As the Xiaomiui page progresses, the Chinese manufacturer prepares to launch the smartphone Redmi Note 11 JE.
This one has the model number ‘22021119KR’, and will soon be exclusively in select markets. Judging by its specs, it will be a very modest device.
Snapdragon 480+ 5G must equip Redmi Note 11 JE
As you can see from this post, it must be equipped with Snapdragon 480+ 5G processor. Which means that it will be a step up from the Redmi Note 10 JE sported by the Sanpdragon 480.
This processor had a clock speed of 2.0 GHz. The new processor, on the other hand, takes the next step to a clock speed of 2.2 GHz. And the source notes that the modem also undergoes speed improvements.
The 90Hz refresh rate starts to be the minimum for Xiaomi
It is stated that the new smartphone will have a 6.6 “inch screen, with a Full HD + resolution of 90Hz that seems to be starting to be a minimum requirement for Xiaomi. It is also expected with a 5000mAh battery, weight of 195 grams and thickness of 8.75mm.
This Redmi Note 11 JE will have the same camera as the Redmi Note 11 5G already launched in China. That means we can count on a 50 MP Samsung JN1 sensor, and it shouldn’t have an ultra-wide lens.
The launch is said to be scheduled for February, and the smartphone will launch with Android 11 based on MIUI 13. Starting in 2021, this could be a Japan-exclusive smartphone.
