Within hours of the launch of the new Redmi K60 series, Xiaomi revealed that the models will come equipped with a 30-watt wireless charging feature as standard.
The brand intends to revive this form of charging and has even shown images of the new compatible wireless charger that will have a very attractive price of around seven euros if purchased together with one of the new Redmi K60 models.

Today, Xiaomi will hold a press conference where it will reveal several new products. Among these is the long-awaited Redmi K60 series that bets on performance, as the specifications revealed by rumors have confirmed.
A few hours after the presentation, the brand continues with its promotional campaign and revealed that the new K60 series comes with a 30-watt wireless charging function as standard.
The brand really wants to popularize this type of charging and for this it has presented a new charger, of course compatible with this series, which will also be available.
The wireless charger will have a very attractive price of around seven euros when purchased together with one of the new Redmi K60 models. Already sold separately it will cost approximately 20 euros.
According to a source close to Xiaomi, the new wireless charger “adopts an independent air duct design. This ensures a very efficient heat dissipation effect. The equipment also supports the identification of smart devices.”
Specifications expected in Xiaomi’s new Redmi K60 series
Xiaomi will expand the Redmi family today with the new K60 series that brings with it three models: K60, K60 E and K60 Pro, the latter of which will have the most advanced specifications.
The Redmi K60E is expected to have an OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The model will also be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8200 processor and a 5,500 mAh battery.
In turn, the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro models will be equipped with an OLED screen with 2K resolution. But the first model will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor while the second already has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip. It is also worth noting that the K60 Pro will have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The Redmi K60 will arrive with a 5,500 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 67 watts. The Pro terminal will have a smaller 5,000 mAh battery, but with a 120-watt fast charge.
