According to rumors, the Xiaomi Redmi K50 line of smartphones will be presented in February. We already know several technical details of these devices, however, their design is the great mystery that remains.
A question that may have finally been resolved thanks to the disclosure of renders of the alleged Xiaomi Redmi K50. The images are shared by Abhishek Yadav and reveal an unusual rear camera.
Redmi K50 may have a round module on the back
We have no way of assessing whether these images are a mere figment of someone’s imagination or a faithful representation of the product being developed by Redmi. However, they are the only illustrative view we have, for now, of the new Chinese smartphones.
The great differentiating point is in its rear part and in the camera module. It has a round appearance and an unusual left alignment. It will house three photographic sensors and an LED flash.
This module has no bumps, breaking away from the bumps that are becoming more and more common in the technology market. We also see the round-looking volume selector buttons with angular edges that evoke the look of the legendary iPhone 4.
On the front we find fewer surprises, with a very familiar screen. That is, we have very small margins and a small hole in the center for the front camera of the Redmi K50.
It is important, once again, to advise the reader to use a good dose of salt in the interpretation of these images. These are not official, so the product that Xiaomi will reveal in the coming weeks could be quite different.
What we already know is that the Redmi K50 lineup will be made up of four devices. In fact, we will have the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, Redmi K50 Pro+ and Redmi K50 Gaming Edition.
The base model will feature the Snapdragon 870 processor. The middle two should use the Dimensity 9000, while the gaming edition will feature Qualcomm’s supreme Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Now we are waiting for the confirmation of the presentation date of the Redmi K50. A fact that should be public in the coming days.
